Woman of Excellence
The Women's Business Forum is proud to announce Gail Schubot, as our 2008 Woman of Excellence. Gail will be honored at the 2008 FHPW Awards Gala, to be held Saturday, September 27th, 2008, at the downtown Hyatt.
Gail Schubot is president and principal of The Schubot Law Firm, P.C., a commercial law practice emphasizing in franchise, licensing and distribution law. The firm represents its clients in litigation as well as transactional and regulatory matters and has been recognized as a ?Franchise Legal Expert? by the International Franchise Association?s Franchising World publication. The firm has received the Cy-Fair Chamber Business of the Year Award and has been a Finalist in the Small Business Development Center?s Small Business of the Year award regional competition.
Known in the community as the ?lawyer by day and firefighter by night?, Gail also serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department, the largest combination fire department in the United States. She is a state certified firefighter and chauffeur and emergency medical technician.
Gail is immediate past president of the Women?s Business Forum, a Trustee of Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, President of Houston Professional Republican Women and member of Cy-Fair College?s President?s Advisory Council. Her son, Donald attends Cy-Fair College and is a dispatcher with the fire department. Gail resides with her cats, Anthrax and Ricin, in the Cy-Fair community.

FHPW Women of Excellence Gala
The Federation of Houston Professional Women and FHPW Educational Foundation present the 2008 Women of Excellence Awards Gala, Saturday, September 27th, 2008. Plan to join the Women?s Business Forum as we honor our Woman of Excellence, Gail Schubot! We are taking reservations for this very special evening to be held at the Downtown Hyatt Regency. The event begins at 5:30 with a reception and Silent Auction, and dinner begins at 6:30.
If you are interested in attending, please contact Kim McCully or Mary Qualls to reserve your seat(s). Guests and spouses are invited. Tickets are $65 per person before August 31st .
